George F. Roberts brings especially high qualifications to his position as President of Uni-Guard Security. Mr. Roberts joined Uni-Guard after retiring from his position as Deputy Chief of the Kansas City, Missouri Police Department with more than 32 years of service with the department. Mr. Roberts is a graduate of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s National Law Enforcement Academy, has received recognition more than 12 times for outstanding individual and unit service, and, while serving in the United States Armed Forces, was assigned to the White House Security Detail. He also commanded the Investigations Bureau the Administration bureau, the Fiscal Planning Division, the Planning and Research Unit, the Central Patrol Division (Watch II), and the Financial Services Unit.

Mr. Roberts is steeped in the experience and expertise that our clients require in an era of volatile security threats. His close affiliation with the Kansas City Police Department affords him unparalleled capability to serve our clients in conjunction with local law enforcement agencies. His knowledge of the department’s training, procedures, methods, personnel and operations make him uniquely able to manage the best security service in the Kansas City metroplex, and he has made it his goal to lead Uni-Guard Security in its continued exemplary performance and service delivery.

Mr. Roberts earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Park University, Parkville, Missouri.


Dennis Dean

Dennis Dean manages the scheduling and placement of all Uni-Guard officers. He also manages the payroll and billing for the company. His department handles customer/officer complaints of various types dealing with scheduling, payroll and billing. He specializes in dealing with our internal customers as well as our external customers.

Mr. Dean is a 20-year member of the Uni-Guard team. He began as an officer to get a grasp of what the officers do on a daily basis. He was promoted to the rank of shift sergeant. At two months he was promoted to the rank of lieutenant and began working as a field-training supervisor. His duties at this time consisted of training and evaluating the field staff during post checks. Mr. Dean was promoted to the rank of captain after four months with the company and placed in charge of four field training supervisors, during this period he was responsible to direct and train the FTS. At Eight months with the company he was promoted to the rank of major and began working as the company guard commander. His duty in this position entailed supervising four field supervisors, four FTS, four supervisor trainees and all Uni-Guard security officers. Mr. Dean was then promoted to colonel in 1984 and became the company's first colonel and personnel director.

Mr. Dean has trained in personnel law, customer service, security supervision, interviewing and interrogation, investigative techniques and video surveillance. He has developed many skills during his tenure with the company. He thrives on challenges and is considered a problem solver.

Mr. Dean holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Prairie View A& University.


Paul Sapp

Paul Sapp is responsible for the overall functions of Administration, Human Resources and Sales, in support of Uni-Guard's goals and objectives.

Mr. Sapp ensures that all officer training and orientation is in line with our customer's needs along with scheduling regular visits to client locations to assure customer satisfaction.

Mr. Sapp retired as a manager in Physical Security from Honeywell in 2001, after thirty-one years of dedicated service. Honeywell is a defense contractor for the Department of Energy, located in Kansas City, Missouri. He held management positions for the last twenty-nine of those years. His assignments included training and managing instructors that were responsible for the curriculum development and training of the protective force. Paul facilitated the Departmental Safety Team and assured compliance with the company Employee Safety Assurance Program and the Firearms Safety Committee. He has participated on numerous quality panels for the Department of Energy in setting policies concerning firearms, safety, tactics and training management.

Mr. Sapp attended the Regional Center for Criminal Justice and served five years with the Kansas City Missouri Police Department as a reserve officer. He has attended the Central Training Academy for the Department of Energy located in Albuquerque, New Mexico where he was certified as basic and advanced instructor in the areas firearms, chemical agents, intermediate force and tactics. Paul has also attended numerous management development classes including Total Quality Management, Towards Excellence and Six Sigma Green Belt Certification. Paul attended Longview Community College taking business and management classes.
